Cruel Exit for Pedro Cairat

Anatolii Filonenko raised to 1,100 and Pedro Cairat three-bet all in for his last 9,650 after having waited patiently ona short stack for quite some time. Filonenko took some consideration and pointed at both of his cards with the words “very bad.” However, Filonenko flicked in two T-5,000 chips for the call.

The flop gave Filonenko a pair but Cairat also had the nut flush draw on top of his pair of aces. A blank changed nothing, but the cruel improved Filonenko to two pair. Cairat could all but smile in defeat and Filonenko continues with a stack of 40,000.
