Jason Mercier opens to 8,000 under the gun, and Daniel Colman three-bet shoves for 90,500. Mercier needs a few minutes in the tank while Colman squirms, eventually standing up and hunching over the table as he considers the call for nearly all of his own chips. Eventually, Mercier does find a call, but the news for him is not good.
Mercier: AQ
Colman: AK
Mercier is visibly frustrated at the misstep, but the dealer is on his side for the moment. The Q64 flop rips off the deck to turn the tides and put Colman two cards from the exit.
The turn 9 leaves him drawing dead to three outs, and the river 2 is not one of them.
Colman has been eliminated, the victim of a bad beat here in St. Kitts.
With that, the final table is set, and play has been paused while the table is prepared and the trophy and cash are retrieved.
