During the break, WPT Champions Club member Darren Elias (pictured) was seen with a stack just above 5.5 million and confirmed that he had played a massive pot during the previous level in which he doubled through Allan Rabinovich, who started the day with over 3 million.
According to Elias, he opened to 60,000 in middle position and was three-bet to 105,000 by Rabinovich on the button. Elias called and the flop came with two hearts and a diamond.
Elias checked and Rabinovich continuation-bet 300,000. Elias check-raised to 800,000 and Rabinovich called to bring the turn on board. Elias bet another 500,000, saw Rabinovich raise him all in, and made the call.
