David Stamm min-raises UTG+1 to 60,000, and Matt Livingston thinks for a little while and takes a good look at Stamm’s remaining stack before he calls from the big blind.

Stamm, misinterpreting his action as a raise all in, puts in his remaining 120,000 and turns over Heart AClub A. The dealer informs him that it was just a call and immediately calls for a floorperson.

The ruling is quick, and Stamm takes back his 120,000. The hand will continue with Livingston knowing exactly what he is up against.

The flop comes Spade QDiamond QClub 10, Livingston checks, Stamm moves all in for 120,000, and Livingston flashes the Club K before he folds. Stamm takes the pot.

Matt Livingston  –  305,000  (10 bb)
David Stamm  –  285,000  (10 bb)

For exposing his hand this deep in the tournament, the Wynn has a policy for an automatic one-round penalty. So Stamm will set out for one orbit of the button, and when his penalty is over his stack will be down to 210,000.
