David Stamm min-raises UTG+1 to 60,000, and Matt Livingston thinks for a little while and takes a good look at Stamm’s remaining stack before he calls from the big blind.
Stamm, misinterpreting his action as a raise all in, puts in his remaining 120,000 and turns over . The dealer informs him that it was just a call and immediately calls for a floorperson.
The ruling is quick, and Stamm takes back his 120,000. The hand will continue with Livingston knowing exactly what he is up against.
The flop comes , Livingston checks, Stamm moves all in for 120,000, and Livingston flashes the before he folds. Stamm takes the pot.
Matt Livingston – 305,000 (10 bb)
David Stamm – 285,000 (10 bb)
For exposing his hand this deep in the tournament, the Wynn has a policy for an automatic one-round penalty. So Stamm will set out for one orbit of the button, and when his penalty is over his stack will be down to 210,000.
