After a flop of Heart 6Diamond 3Spade 2 with about 14K in the pot, David “The Dragon” Pham checks, his opponent on his immediate left bets 7,000, and Pham thinks for a while before he check-raises to 14,500.

His opponent moves all in for about 47,000, and Pham calls all in for 35,400 with Spade QClub Q. His opponent turns over Diamond JDiamond 7 for a jack-high bluff with runner-runner outs, and Pham needs his queens to hold to stay alive.

The turn card is the Heart 5, giving his opponent a gutshot straight draw, but the river card is the Spade J. Pham wins the pot with his pocket queens to double up in chips.
