There were 474 entries on Day 1 of WPT Rolling Thunder, though registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until the end of the first break tomorrow on Day 2 (about 2:15 pm). The prizepool is already up over $1.5 million, with room to grow tomorrow.
After eight levels of play, Day 1 came to and end with 230 players remaining, and the biggest stack belongs to WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year Albert Knafo, who bagged up 425,000 (283 big blinds).
The Day 2 seat draw and the full list of official chip counts will be released soon, but here is a preview of the top of the leaderboard:
1. Albert Knafo – 425,000 (283 bb)
2. Andrew Esposito – 377,000 (251 bb)
3. Eric Wong – 343,000 (229 bb)
4. James Turner – 338,500 (226 bb)
