Day 1 Finishes With About 500 Left

Day 1 came to an end around 8:30 pm PT, and the tournament clock shows about 500 players left from a total field of 665. Unofficially, registration will remain open overnight until the start of play tomorrow, so the field still has time to grow — and possibly break the line of 673 set this morning on "The Jess & BJ Show."

The official chip counts will be released by the casino later tonight, but we scanned the huge field to come up with this unofficial leaderboard:
