Day 1B Concludes with David Levy Leading

Day 1B of the Season XVIII WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open has come to a conclusion with the 420-entrant field reduced to approximately 170 players.

David Levy (pictured) finished the day as chip leader with 344,500 and sits ahead of Barbaro Diaz (312,500), John Dollinger (298,000), and Michael Duek (295,000).

Others to survive into Day 2 include WPT Champions Club members James Calderaro, Eric Afriat, Craig Varnell, Ryan Van Sanford, Geoffrey Hum, Andy Frankenberger, Mike Vela, Marvin Rettenmaier, and Andjelko Andrejevic. Also still in contention is former WPT Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja, and WPTDeepStacks champion Faraz Jaka.

Day 2 begins on Sunday, January 19, at 12 p.m. (ET) and players will play ten 60-minute levels with a dinner break at approximately 6:30 p.m. (ET) for 90 minutes.
