Day 1B of WPT Prime Cambodia added another 311 entries to the field, and action ended shortly before 2:00 am when Jianguo Zhou was eliminated by Vitalii Borodin on the Money Bubble.
There were 39 survivors in today’s flight, and the full list of official chip counts will be released by the casino later tonight. In the meantime, here is a preview of the top of the leaderboard:
1. Arun Sriram – 888,000 (74 bb)
2. Vitalii Borodin – 870,000 (73 bb)
3. Dongjun Jo – 752,000 (63 bb)
4. Koen Breed – 731,000 (61 bb)
5. Gabriel Carter – 600,000 (50 bb)
The 39 survivors will return to action at 1:00 pm on Sunday for Day 2.
Action ended tonight in Level 18, with blinds at 6,000-12,000 with an 12,000 ante. Day 2 will begin with the blinds where they ended in whichever flight finishes the earliest, which so far is Day 1A, which ended with 11:13 remaining in Level 16, with blinds at 4,000-8,000 with an 8,000 ante.
The tournament field of 529 entries (so far) has already surpassed the $500,000 guarantee for the prizepool, and the third and final starting flight (Day 1C) begins tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
