Day 1C of €‎1,100 WPT Prime Paris Championship Due to Kick Off

After two action-packed days of poker, the third starting flight of the €‎1,100 WPT Prime Paris Championship is due to get underway at noon local time today, October 25, at Club Circus Paris.

The first two flights attracted 443 entrants, of which 56 have progressed to Day 2 and are in the money, with the total prize pool currently standing at €542,400.

Etienne De Silva Oliveira (1,752,000) leads the way presently after bagging the chip lead in Day 1B, and he is followed by Eric Denizart (970,000) and Day 1A chip leader Mathias Moutaoukil (917,000).

Players will play 40-minute levels, starting with a 50,000 starting stack, with blinds starting at 100/200, with a 200 big blind ante. Day 1C is the third of five starting flights, all of which will play down to 12.5% of the field, with the final flight, Day 1E, being a turbo flight featuring 20-minute levels. All players who find a bag will be in the money and will then return on October 27 for Day 2.

The registration for each Day 1 is open until the start of level ten and one re-entry is allowed per day. In this particular case according to French regulations, it means two entries are possible on each player’s first Day 1 of this tournament, and then one entry on the following days if needed.

Blinds will increase to 60-minute levels in Day 2, and will only be be reduced to 30 minutes each once the heads-up stage on the final day has been reached. There will be a redraw prior to Day 2, followed by the final three and two tables, as well as the nine-handed final table. Players will earn points for the 2024 WPT Player of the Year leaderboard and the winner also receives a $10,400 seat for the 2024 WPT World Championships at Wynn Las Vegas this upcoming December.
