Photo: Day 1B Chipleader Hasanain Al Ghunaim leads the field into Day 2 with 723,500 (362 big blinds).
There were 853 entries across the three starting flights, and 305 players advanced to Day 2, which begins at 11:00 am. However, the field is likely to continue to grow, because registration remains open with unlimited re-entries until Day 2 gets underway.
The prizepool is already worth more than CAD $2.72 million, easily surpassing the CAD $2 million guarantee. The payouts won’t be available until after registration closes at the start of Day 2, but about 12.5% of the field will finish in the money.
