A thrilling day of poker has just drawn to a close here at Card Casino, Bratislava.
From a field of 95 Day 2 players, only nine remain for Day 3 after a marathon 13-hour session. Andras Matrai of Hungary leads the way on 7,200,000 (72 bb), closely followed by Maor Zaharaghi (6,150,000) and Fabian Gumz (4,400,000)
The final table will reconvene at 2 p.m. local time Monday 15 April and play to a winner, with first place good for €108, 210 plus a €10,400 WPT World Championship package. All players at the final table are guaranteed a minimum payout of €10,800.

Day 2 Action
95 players returned for Day 2, all guaranteed a minimum cash of €1,920. The first player to fall was Daniel Hegyes, and he joined other players such as Michel Molenaar, Ran Shahar and Claas Stoob who made the money, but will have hoped for a deeper run.
The knockouts came fast until the three-table redraw, with the average stack around 40 big blinds, when matters began to slow down. Players such as Alex Isen and Ohad Freund bowed out at this stage.
Jenny Westerlund managed another deep run in Slovakia, while George Sandford was the last British player standing, bowing out in 15th. Jozef Komorny was the last player to depart before the close of play in 10th.
