Finished with 898,000. Pretty decent day.less than a minute ago via txt

Things got serious at the Bike today as Day 2 of the Legends of Poker Main Event whittled the field from 241 to just 60 over the course of seven levels.

As the day progressed, big stacks from Day 1 like Raymond Dolan and Vinny Vinh fell by the wayside and several new contenders emerged, including chip leader Phil Collins, who started the day with just 13,000, but ended it with an impressive 898,000.  Collins’ next closest competitor is Andrew Frankenberger, who finished Day 2 with 589,000.

Official chip counts are available on the chip counts page and the photo blog recap of the Day 2 action will be up shortly.

Here are the top five chip counts headed into Day 3, which gets underway Monday at 1pm PT:

1. Phil Collins – 898,000
2. Andrew Frankenberger – 589,000
3. JC Alvarado – 430,000
4. Kyle McCammond – 410,000
5. Tom Braband – 374,000
