Day 2 Ends With Zhi Gang Yang and Stephen Dauphinais Leading Final 53 Players

Day 2 began with 315 players, with the top 105 being guaranteed at least a min-cash of CAD $6,400 (USD $4,607). Only 53 players bagged at the end of Day 2, with Zhi Gang Yang leading the field with a stack of 2,150,000. Yan is most closely followed by Stephen Dauphinais (2,140,000) while Connor Daynard rounds out the top three with 2,060,000. 

Darren Elias also bagged today, finishing as one of the shorter stacks in the room with 315,000.

Day 3 begins tomorrow (Monday, October 28) at 11:00 am, when they are scheduled to play until just six players remain. From this point forward, tables will be eight-handed (until the final nine combine to a final table), and when there are 40 players remaining, blind levels will increase to 90 minutes.
