Feb 22, 2020

S18 WPT Germany

The Main Event has reached the later stages and today, will be the first time the online qualifiers pull up a chair and join those who have survived two days of live poker.

It will all be happening here at King’s Resort shortly, when cards are in the air at 12 p.m. local time.

Julian Menhardt (1,214,000) starts in pole position after dominating the online Day 1&2 tournament. He is closely followed by Peter Jaksland (1,127,000), who is the only player starting with a seven-figure stack.

All players have locked up at least €6,000 but all will be looking to the €270,000 first-place prize, which also comes with a $15,000 entry into the Tournament of Champions at the end of the season.

On the schedule for today are 60-minute levels and there will either be a total of 11 levels played (to the end of Level 29) or to the final six, whichever comes first.

Play returns with nine minutes left of Level 18. Cards up coverage of the feature table continues on the live stream with a 30-minute delay.

All of that will be covered here, by the live updates team who will be your guide from the moment cards are in the air, until the last chip has been bagged.
