WPT sponsor Skrill, a digital wallet payment processor, is hosting a free last-longer bonus prize for players in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.
In order to participate, players needed to stop by the Skrill table outside the tournament area on Day 1 to sign up for a Skrill account (or verify their existing account) and pick up a patch to wear during the tournament.
The last remaining player in the tournament who has worn their Skrill patch the entire time will receive their buy-in back — $3,500.
There were nine Skrill-patched players who survived to Day 3, but only three of them made it here to Day 4. Here are their official chip counts to start the day:
Shawn Nguyen – 4,190,000 (83 bb)
Cornel Cimpan – 1,100,000 (22 bb)
Travis Northrope – 640,000 (12 bb)
Two Skrill-patched players have gone on to win the entire WPT event this season — Ryan Van Sanford (pictured) and Aaron Mermelstein. Who will be next?
