Deeb and Davis Continue to Battle

Action folds around to Freddy Deeb on the button who opens with a raise to 8,000. The small blind folds and Shaun Davis three-bets to 23,000 from the big blind. Deeb calls and the two engage in a staring contest as the dealer spreads a flop of

Davis opted to slow down with a check and Deeb quickly checked behind as they both watch the 
hit the turn.
This time Davis would take control of the pot with a bet of 25,000. Deeb wastes little time in calling and the 
falls on the river.
Davis checks and Deeb again checks behind.
“I got it,” says Davis as he tables 
for a flopped set of eights. Deeb double checks his cards before he releases them into the muck and Davis takes down the pot.
