The WPT European Championship €3,300 Main Event has reached its first break of the day with 64/67 players remaining. Two of the three players who were eliminated, Minissha Lamba and Matthew Frankland, have re-entered, with late registration and unlimited re-entry open until the start of Day 2.
Players already in the field including WPT Champions Club member Tyler Patterson (pictured above) and WPT regular Stan Jablonski. WPTDS Berlin final tablists Kunal Patni and Tobias Mathaess are also in the field, along with WPTDS Europe Player of the Year Tobias Peters.
Aleksandar Tomovic, Paul Newey, Jan Bendik and Adda 52 Team Pros Kunal Patni and Minissha Lamba are also in the field.
Just before the players headed into the break, Pierre Merlin was responsible for the third casualty of the day after sending Mutar Taysi to the rail.
According to Merlin, Taysi had limped and called a raise to 700 before check-calling three barrels on a board of and turned over , but ended up second-best to the of Merlin.
