Eric Froehlich Doubles Up with Jack High

Eric Froehlich and Steven Merrifield see a flop of [Ks][4c][2d] and Froehlich bets 9,800 ino the raised pot from middle position.  Merrifield calls from the cutoff and the two see a turn of [5s].  Froehlich checks, Merrifield bets 15,400 and Froehlich announces he is raising to 65,000 and, before he can even push his chips in the pot, Merrifield moves all-in having Froehlich covered. 

Froehlich calls off his remaining 85,000 and shows [Js][Ts] for a jack-high flush draw.  Merrfield flips up his [6s][7s] in frustration, showing a smaller flush draw with an open-ended straight draw.  Froehlich’s jack high holds as the river comes [5d] and he doubles up to 340,000.

As the dealer is counting down Froehlich’s stack Terrence Chan marvels at the hand.  "That is a very big pot for jack high."
