Erik Seidel has gotten off to a very hot start in 2011, finishing top 4 in three different high-roller events and winning one of them. Seidel has already cashed for more than $3.4 million this year, and if he manages to win his second WPT title in this event, he would cross the $5 million mark in the first ten weeks of the year.
Day 1 chipleader Mike Baxter has a lot to smile about at the start of Day 2.
Two-time WPT winner Freddy Deeb was one of 24 players who skipped Day 1 entirely to begin Day 2 with 30,000 in chips (75 big blinds).
