We didn’t see the flow of the action but did see the outcome. It was all-in pre flop with Pecheux holding [Ah] [Kc] and Nikonov holding [Kh] [Kd]. The board ran out [7s] [7c] [6s] [Qc] [5s] and after a close count Pecheux just about stayed in the competition with 15,000 chips.
Pecheux then folded his hand under the gun before calling a Rami Shouman open from the button. It was [9h] [2d] for Pecheux and [Kh] [4c] for Shouman. The king high proving good enough on a [Th] [5h] [3d] [3h] [Ad] board to send the Frenchman out.
Shouman ~ 255,000
Nikonov ~ 380,000
