Feenstra Takes from Berende

Only a few minutes after the blinds had gone up to 6,000-12,000 with a running ante of 2,000, Arto Loikkannen raised to 28,000 in the cutoff and was called by Rens Feenstra on the button and Paul Berende in the big blind.

The flop came and Berende as well as Loikkanen checked to Feenstra, who bet 35,000. Berende check-raised to 110,000 and Loikkanen folded, Feenstra came along.

The turn saw Berende let his Action Clock run down and three seconds later he slid forward a bet of 175,000, having not announced a bet prior to that. Feenstra called and the river was checked through. Berende showed for sixes and treys, having missed the open-ended straight and flush draw, while Feenstra dragged in the pot with for eights and treys.

On top of losing a sizable portion of his stack, Berende also had to forfeit his last time bank extension.
