Final Ten Players: Chrishan Sivasundaram Eliminated in 10th Place (CAD $31,601)

Feb 24, 2017

Chrishan Sivasundaram
Hand #33 – Darren Elias raises to 125,000 on the button and David Eldridge calls out of the small blind. The flop comes Spade ASpade 4Heart 4 and Eldridge checks to Elias, who bets 90,000. Eldridge calls, tehn both players check the Heart 7 on the turn. The river brings the Club 2. Eldridge checks, Elias bets 360,000, Eldridge folds, and Elias takes the pot.

Hand #34 – Darren Elias raises to 125,000 from the cutoff and Chrishan Sivasundaram (pictured) moves all in from the big blinds for 580,000. Elias calls with Diamond 10Diamond 8 and Sivasundaram is in dominating position with Club ASpade 8.

The Spade QHeart JClub J flop keeps Sivasundaram out front, but does give Elias a gutshot-straight draw. The Club 8 on the turn improves both to two piar, but Sivsundaram’s kicker still plays.

The river Spade 9 completes Elias’ straight though, giving him the pot and sending Sivasundaram to the rail.

Darren Elias – 2,600,000 (43 bb)
Chrishan Sivasundaram – Eliminated in 10th place (CAD $31,601)
