Four Hundred Thousand Shades of Red

Sam El Sayed raises to 32,000 from the button, Marvin Rettenmaier bets 92,000 from the small blind and El Sayed makes the call. The flop is [Ks] [Tc] [5s] and Rettenmaier check-calls a 71,000 El Sayed bet. The turn card – [Ad] – is checked through and the river is the [Jd]. Rettenmaier has around 180,000 behind and he slowly puts 136,000 of that stack over the line. El Sayed lifts up his shades and asks Rettenmaier how much he has left. The German moves out of the way to show El Sayed his remaining 140,000, El Sayed drops his shades and announces he is all-in. Rettenmaier looks sick as he folds his hand and El Sayed shows [8h] [7c] for the complete airball!

We left the action a good five minutes ago and Rettenmaier is still looking as red as the jack of diamonds that hit the river.
