Shon Mekyten raises to 1,500, WPT Champion Ravi Raghavan reraises to 4,500, the player in seat 5 calls, and the player in seat 8 moves all in for about 11,000. Mekyten calls all in for about 9,000, and Raghavan moves all in, covering everyone. The player in seat 5 calls all in for 26,500.

It’s a four-way all-in situation, and here are their cards in descending order of chip counts:

Ravi Raghavan:  X 10X 10
Seat 5:  Diamond KDiamond J
Seat 8:  X 9X 9
Shon Mekyten:  Club ADiamond Q

The flop comes X JX 6Diamond 5, and the player in seat 5 takes the lead with a pair of jacks, giving him a strong lead in the hand.

But the turn card is the Diamond 10, giving Raghavan the lead with a set of tens. Mekyten picks up a gutshot straight draw to stay alive, while the player in seat 5 picks up a diamond flush draw and a chance to win the entire pot.

The river card is — a X K!

The flush draw misses, while Mekyten catches his three-outer to win the main pot and quadruple his chip stack to about 37K. Raghavan wins the side pot worth about 33K and eliminates two players (in seat 5 and seat 8).

Shon Mekyten  –  37,000  (93 bb)
Ravi Raghavan  –  95,000  (238 bb)
