Four-Way All In: Ty Reiman Eliminates Three Players

Mar 23, 2010

In all my time covering major poker tournaments, I have never seen three players bust on a single hand this deep in a tournament. Until today.

Mike Miller moves all in from the cutoff for about 50,000, Ty Reiman calls from the button, and Craig Smith moves all in from the small blind for about 50,000. Then Eric Lynch moves all in over the top with a big stack, only to see chipleader Reiman call with [KhKs].

Here are the hands, in descending order of chip counts:

Ty Reiman:  [KhKs]
Eric Lynch:  [AdQh]
Mike Miller:  [9d8h]
Craig Smith:  [Ac8c]

The board came [7s6h2hKd4s], and Reiman wins the entire pot with an unnecessary set of kings on the turn to bust three players in a single hand to reach the final table.

Ty Reiman  –  1,250,000  (78 bb)
Craig Smith  –  Out in 12th Place ($23,019)
Mike Miller  –  Out in 11th Place ($23,019)
Eric Lynch  –  Out in 10th Place ($23,019)
