Francis Anderson Raises River on Erfan Geula

Erfan Geula opens to 1,200 UTG and is called by another player before Francis Anderson three-bets to 5,200 from the hijack. 

Geula then responds by four-betting to 13,000, resulting in a call from Anderson after the other player got out of the way. 

Both players check the flop of and go straight to the turn, which sees a bet of 8,000 from Geula and a call from Anderson. 

When the river falls the , Geula fires for 12,000 but then Anderson raises to 35,000, sending Geula into the tank. 

Geula removes his sunglasses to get a better look at the board and begins shaking his head as he thinks it over for around 40 seconds. 

“Alright, I don’t think you can have a bluff here,” he finally admits and tosses his cards to the muck to award Anderson the pot.
