Day 1B of the WPT Prime at Playground saw a total of 270 entrants join the 217 of the prior flight to get a piece of the $800,000 CAD guaranteed prize pool. This brings the total number of entrants up to 487, with 62 of them guaranteed a path to Day 2 so far, 34 of them coming from this flight.
Leading the way is Mathieu Arcouette Garceau, who ended his day with 748,000. Rounding out the top five are Hassan Hussain (620,000), Sebastien Proulx (606,000), Hugo Morrissette (564,000) and Robin Wezelenburg (562,000).
WPT ladies event champion Lina Niu found a bag at the end of the day as she advanced with 52,000 in her stack.
Play ended with 9:27 left in Level 16, ending slightly after yesterday’s flight and the levels will be brought back to this spot unless one of the following flights ends earlier than this.
Day 1c begins on Monday, October 22nd at noon local time, with Day 1d following on October 23rd at noon local. The survivors from four starting flights combine for Day 2 on October 24 at noon local time.
