We catch up with Gavin Griffin’s table just as he puts in a big stack of chips announcing all in. There are two other players involved in the hand, one already all in for 15,500 and another deciding whether to call Griffin’s move for another, smaller stack.
The second player decides to wait for a better spot and mucks his hand before Griffin tables . The all in player is dominated and shows , then is in the really deep stuff after the flop. Griffin needs to fade running nines and locks up the hand after the turn to push him up among the leaders.
Gavin Griffin – 88,000 (176 bb)
