We just reported on a hand where Daniel Carter had to dodge a flush draw on the flop to double up through Maksim Semisohenko. Here he is once again trying to dodge that flush draw – how did he fair?
Carter raises to 2,700 in the cutoff and Jean Marie Vandeborne three-bets on the button to 7,000. The blinds get out of the way before Carter four-bets to 16,000. Vandeborne five-bet jams for around 50,000 and Carter calls.
As before, Carter dominates his opponent with [Ac] [Kc] to Vandebornes [Ad] [Qd]. The flop brings the flushd raw for Vandeborne [Jd] [9d] [2c], the turn is the [4s] and the river brings Vandeborne exactly what he wanted [6d].
Vandeborne now has 111,000 and Carter is back down to 115,000
