Gigi Gagne Busts a Player

There are a fair amount of chips already in the pot when a player in the blinds moves all-in for his last 10,000 or so on a board of [KcJh5h5c]. Gigi Gagne, the runner-up at this season’s Lucky Hearts Poker open, is deep in thought for a spell before she calls.

The all-in player turns over [AsKd] for two pair, kings and fives. Gagne is drawing with [7h8h] for a flush draw. Gagne quietly calls for a heart and gets one as the river [10h] completes here flush and gives her the pot and the KO.

Gagne flings her arms in the air and yells out a prolonged "Gigi!" She is clearly excited and follows up her celebratory yell by pointing at the now-busted player with one hand and calling out, "Boom." She then points her other hand at him and adds, "You’re out."

At this point, the WPT cameras make their way to the table and she continues to revel in her win. She tries to explain her enthusiam by telling the cameras, "Calling is just so hard. But I did it!"
