A discussion began when the final two players got heads up and after some discussion, a deal was made between the two remaining players with Glenn Gillam taking the trophy, $112,117, and first place with David Swenson taking second place and $100,105.
The Las Vegas local and fishing lodge owner multiplied his overall hendon mob lifetime earnings with this new score. He mentions how his wife, kids, and grandkids will all be getting a piece of the massive prize.
Primarily a cash game player, Gillam started the final table in the middle of the pack, but eventually found himself among the four remaining players striking up a deal. After that he took the chip lead heads up and made a second deal between himself and Swenson.
