Gorham Grabs Some

Jimmy Gorham opens to 2,000 from the cutoff and finds calls from the players in the small and big blinds. The flop comes down  and the trio of players check to see the J hit the felt on the turn.

The small blind checks for a second time, prompting the big blind to fire 2,000. Gorham takes the opportunity to come over the top with a raise to 8,000. The small blind folds and the big blind does the same. Gorham takes the pot and brings his stack to about 44,000 in chips.
