Gorodetsky Represents the Straight

Feb 19, 2013

Robert Gorodetsky opens to 1,200 from early position and after one player folds, Mehmet Ongorur three-bets to 3,600. Gorodetsky calls and the pair share a [8d][6h][2h] flop.

Gorodetsky check-calls a 3,300 bet leading the dealer to put the [5c] onto the turn. Both players check this low card and then witness the [7d] land on the river. With four cards to the straight on the board, Gorodetsky decides to take a stab and bet 2,000. His plan works too because Ongorur quickly folds and Gorodetsky wins the hand.
