Hand #104 – Vitor Coelho limps in from under the gun and action folds around to Larry Wells in the small blind. Wells completes from the small blind, and James Dempsey checks his option in the big blind.

The flop comes [6h4h3d] and action checks to Coelho, who bets 175,000. Wells calls and Dempsey folds. The turn brings the [10h] and Wells bets out 325,000. This bet sends Coelho deep in thought, as the bet represents the majority of his remaining 440,000 chips, and he silently deliberates for a good five minutes.

In the midst of Coelho’s deliberation, James Dempsey steps away from the table and remarks, "I think we might be going for the longest hand in poker history."  Coelho doesn’t think too much longer before holding [8h8s] face up, giving Wells the pot.

Larry Wells – 1,600,000 (32 BBs)
Vitor Coelho – 440,000 (9 BBs)
