Hand #12: Mimi Luu Doubles Thru Quoc Pham

Mimi Luu raises from middle position to 65,000, and Quoc Pham calls from the big blind.

The flop comes [6s5d3c], Pham checks, Luu bets 100,000, and Pham check-raises to 255,000. Luu tanks for about two minutes, saying, “We just started,” and “I just can’t fold this.”

Luu eventually moves all in for 485,000, and Pham calls.

Luu shows [KdKs] for an overpair, and Pham turns over [6c4c] for a pair of sixes with an open-ended straight draw.

The turn is the [Jh], the river is the [3d], and the pocket kings hold up for Mimi Luu to win the pot and double up in chips.

“I feel like a millionaire you guys,” says Luu as she crosses the million-in-chips mark.
