Anthony Zinno limps for 250,000, Mark Bailey raises to 750,000, and Zinno thinks for a bit before he calls.
The flop comes 842, Bailey moves all in for 5,175,000, and Zinno snap-calls with KK. Bailey turns over AJ for a club flush draw with an overpair, and he needs to improve to stay alive.
The turn card pairs the board with the 4, the river card is the 7, and Anthony Zinno wins the pot — and his second WPT title — with two pair, kings and fours.
Mark Bailey finishes as the runner-up, earning CAD $266,394.
Anthony Zinno wins the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic, earning CAD $399,579. That amount includes his $15,400 entry into the season-ending WPT World Championship in April. Zinno also wins a WPT Champions Trophy, a pair of gold Monster 24K Headphones, and a Hublot King Power Unico watch. This is Zinno’s second WPT title, and his name will be engraved on the one-and-only WPT Champions Cup a second time, with a diamond next to his name to indicate it’s his second title.
