Hand #177: Andy Frankenberger Doubles Through Tom Lee

Aug 26, 2010

Tom Lee completes the small blind to 120,000, and Andy Frankenberger checks his option in the big blind. The flop comes [Qc7c5h], Lee bets 300,000, and Frankenberger thinks for several minutes before someone calls a clock on him.

Shortly after the clock is called, Frankenberger raises to 1,700,000, and Lee moves all in. Frankenberger thinks for about a minute before he calls all in for 3,530,000 with [Jc5c] (pair of fives, flush draw). Lee shows [Qs5d] for two pair, queens and fives.

Frankenberger needs to catch any club or running jacks to stay alive.

The turn card is the [4c], and Frankenberger makes his flush. Now Lee needs a queen or a five to make a full house.

The river card is the [7h], and Andy Frankenberger wins the pot with his club flush to double up in chips.
