Hand #21: Dan Heimiler Can't Get Value For a Full House

Feb 20, 2011

Hand #21  –  Dan Heimiller limps from the small blind for 20,000, and actor Ashton Holmes checks his option in the big blind. The flop comes [AcQs3s], Heimiller checks, Holmes bets 20,000, and Heimiller calls. The turn card is the [7h], and both players check.

The river card pairs the board with the [3h], and Heimiller studies Holmes’ stack for a bit. (Holmes has about 260,000.) Heimiller bets 120,000, and Holmes instafolds.

Heimiller pushes both of his cards toward Holmes and tells him he can flip one of them over. Holmes turns over a card, and it’s the [3c]. Heimiller then turns over the [Ah] to show he had a full house, threes full of aces.
