Preston Harwell moves all in for 1,125,000, and J.C. Tran calls with [Kd4c]. Harwell turns over [8s5s], and he needs to improve to stay alive.
The board comes [6c4s2d10h9h], and J.C. Tran wins the pot — and his second WPT title — with a pair of fours.
Preston Harwell finishes as the runner-up, earning $200,030.
J.C. Tran wins WPT Rolling Thunder, earning $302,750, a WPT Champions Trophy and a pair of gold Monster 24K Headphones. Tran will also get his name inscribed on the WPT Champions Cup for a second time, which means he also gets an actual diamond placed in the trophy next to his second title. Tran’s earnings include a $15,400 seat into the season-ending WPT World Championship at Borgata in Atlantic City in April.
Congratulations to two-time WPT champion J.C. Tran!
