Hand #28: Greg Rosen Triples w/ A-A vs. K-K & K-K

Feb 10, 2015

Greg Rosen

Hand #27  –  There is no small blind this hand. Jon Graham raises from the cutoff to 130,000, and Brian Altman calls from the big blind. The flop comes 9spade5spade3club, Altman checks, Graham bets 150,000, and Altman calls. The turn is the 4club, and both players check.

The river is the 2club, Altman checks, Graham bets 275,000, and Altman folds. Graham takes the pot.

Hand #28  –  Nathan Tuthill raises from middle position to 130,000, and Dean Baranowski moves all in from middle position for 1,215,000. Greg Rosen (pictured) calls all in from the hijack for 565,000, and Walter Fisher calls all in from the button for about 780,000. Tuthill folds.

Here are their cards in descending order of chip counts:

Dean Baranowski:  KspadeKclub
Walter Fisher:  KheartKdiamond
Greg Rosen:  AspadeAheart

The board comes 8club6diamond4spade2heart3heart, and the pocket aces hold up for Rosen to triple up in chips, crippling Fisher down to fewer than four big blinds in the process.

Greg Rosen  –  2,035,000  (33 bb)
Dean Baranowski  –  650,000  (10 bb)
Walter Fisher  –  220,000  (3 bb)
