Hand #4: Aces vs. Aces For a Chopped Pot

May 23, 2013

Andrew Robl completes the small blind for 16,000, Jim Courtney moves all in from the big blind, and Robl snap-calls all in for 145,000 with [AsAh]. But Courtney turns over [AcAd], and it’ll be a chopped pot unless somebody makes a flush.

The flop comes [Qc5c2c], and Courtney is freerolling with a club flush draw, and short-stacked Robl can only sweat it from here.

The turn is the [4s], the river is the [5h], and it’s a chopped pot.
