Hand #4: Will Molson Doubles Thru Tae Kyung Cha to Take the Chip Lead

Oct 26, 2019

Will Molson

In Hand #4 of hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble, there is a flop of Heart AHeart QClub 4. Will Molson (pictured) checks under the gun, chipleader Tae Kyung Cha bets 19,000 from the hijack, and Molson calls.

The turn card is the Club Q, Molson checks, Cha moves all in, and Molson snap-calls all in for 210,500 with Spade ADiamond A for a full house, aces full of queens.

Cha turns over Diamond JDiamond 8 for a naked jack-high bluff, and he is obviously drawing dead.

The meaningless river card is the Spade 7, and Molson wins the pot with his full house to double up into the chip lead.

Will Molson  –  500,000  (63 bb)
Tae Kyung Cha  –  335,000  (42 bb)
