Hand #58 – Marvin Rettenmaier (center) raises to 105,000 from under the gun and Michael Mizrachi calls from the small blind. Hafiz Khan (left) is in the big blind and reraises to 360,000.
Rettenmaier thinks for quite a while before very deliberately counting out a stack of 25,000 chips. He deliberately re-stacks them, then slides out a raise to 670,000. Mizrachi gets a count and thinks a few seconds before folding.
Khan thinks about a little while before announcing he is all-in for around 1.5 million total. Rettenmaier quickly calls.
Khan turns over [AhKc] and he is racing with Rettenmaier’s [JdJh]. The [9d8h7h] flop is no help to Khan, but the [3h] on the turn does give him a heart draw.
The river [6d] keeps Rettenmaier out front and Khan is eliminated early in the Day 6 action.
Marvin Rettenmaier – 5,780,000 (125 BBs)
Hafiz Khan – eliminated in 9th place ($58,568)
