Hand #58: Jonathan Little Eliminated in 8th Place($54,060)

Hand #58 – Action folds around to Jonathan Little on the button and he moves all-in for his last 169,000. Eli Berg folds from the small blind and Steven Brackesy thinks for over a minute in the big blind before calling with [As5c].

Little is in bad shape with [5h9h] and gets little help from the [Kd4s7s] flop.  The [6c] on the turn gives both players an open-ended straight draw, though Little’s nine would play if the river brings an eight.

The river is not an eight though.  It is the [2h] and, with that, the Season VII World Poker Finals winner is eliminated in 8th place.
