Hand #65: Sam Panzica Doubles Thru John Esposito

Oct 25, 2017

Double Up Sam Panzica

John Esposito raises from the button to 105,000, and — surprisingly? — Darren Elias folds the small blind.

Sam Panzica (pictured) moves all in from the big blind for 805,000, and Esposito thinks for a while before he calls with Heart AHeart 10. Panzica turns over Diamond AHeart 4, and he needs to improve to stay alive.

The board comes Spade JHeart 9Diamond 4Spade QClub 9 — Panzica pairs his four on the flop, and Esposito turns a gutshot straight draw, but the river card is a blank. Panzica wins the pot with two pair, nines and fours, to double up in chips.
