Hand #93  –  David Peters raises UTG+1 to 130,000, Eric Afriat calls from the hijack, and Mohammad Abu-Hadbah (pictured) calls from the button.

The flop comes Club JHeart 10Club 9, Peters checks, Afriat bets 200,000, and Abu-Hadbah moves all in for 910,000.

Peters folds, and Afriat calls with Diamond AHeart J for a pair of jacks. Abu-Hadbah turns over Club AClub 7 for a club flush draw with a gutshot straight draw, and he needs to improve to stay alive.

The turn card is the Spade A, the river card is the Diamond 9, and Afriat wins the pot with two pair, aces and jacks, to eliminate Abu-Hadbah in eighth place.

Eric Afriat  –  3,450,000  (58 bb)
Mohammad Abu-Hadbah  –  Eliminated in 8th Place  (CAD $51,150)

Afriat finished Day 3 with 2.4 million in chips, and he started Day 4 on a big downswing that saw him become the short stack with 13 players left. With this hand, Afriat has finally recovered enough to beat his start-of-day stack, though the blinds are 3x higher now (30K-60K) than they were nine-and-a-half hours ago (10K-20K).
