Two button raises and a big blind threebet (to 52k) were how Sorel Mizzi took these three pots. Deeb’s took longer to win, and involved more than preflop action, one hand being limp-checked all the way to the river on a [9d] [8h] [Kh] [Th] [8c] board, at which point Mizzi folded to his 15k bet. The second hand he won in this period saw him making it 45k from the big blind over Mizzi’s 15k button raise, which was enough to take the pot.
Although they’ve definitely been playing a lot more aggressively than the others in the late-stage final table, there doesn’t look much chance of them finishing by the proposed dinner break, as Freddy Deeb keeps suggesting with gusto.
