Hands #28-30: Tommy Nguyen Picks Off Dongwoo Ko

HAND #28 – Dan Stavila raises to 250,000 under the gun and Tommy Nguyen three-bets to 600,000 in the cutoff. David Dongwoo Ko calls in the big blind, while Stavila folds.

Both players check to the river on a board of when Ko bets 2,000,000. Nguyen calls.

“You win,” Ko says, flipping over . Nguyen shows for top pair as he takes the pot.

HAND #29 – Tamer Alkamli raises to 200,000 under the gun, Charles Kassin three-bets to 2,300,000 on the button, and Alkamli quickly folds.

“Better than a snap call, I guess. I was thinking about getting a Pokemon,” Kassin says, pointing out Alkamli’s Psyduck card protector.

“There’s no better Pokemon than Psyduck,” Alkamli replies.

HAND #30 – David Dongwoo Ko raises to 225,000 on the button and Tamer Alkamli calls in the big blind. 

The flop comes and Ko bets 150,000. Alkamli calls.

Both players check down the turn and river. Alkamli shows for a straight and Ko mucks.

“Psyduck. Psyduck knew it,” Charles Kassin says.
