Hand #32 – Shawn Cunix raises from middle position to 140,000, winning the blinds and antes.
Hand #33 – Barry Leventhal (pictured) raises from the hijack to 140,000, and Aaron Mermelstein calls from the big blind.
The flop comes A87, Mermelstein checks, Leventhal bets 250,000, and Mermelstein calls.
The turn card pairs the board with the 8, and both players check.
The river card is the 5, and Mermelstein bets a stack of yellow 100K chips, more than enough to put Leventhal all in.
As he often does, Leventhal stands up when facing a big decision. He tanks for a while before he calls all in for 635,000, and Mermelstein shows Q8 for trip eights. Leventhal mucks as he is eliminated from the tournament.
Aaron Mermelstein – 5,310,000 (88 bb)
Barry Leventhal – Eliminated in 10th Place ($37,989)
With the elimination of Leventhal, Aaron Mermelstein is the last remaining entrant in the Skrill Last-Longer Contest.
